In the Midst of the Garden

Old, gnarled, twisted trees seem to embody some kind of mystical power. I've always thought that in the Biblical story of the Garden of Eden, both Eve and the Tree got bad press that neither deserved. In this solar plate intaglio print, I've tried to express the beauty and poignancy of the Tree of Knowledge relegated to a back corner of a deserted Garden of Eden, waiting for adventurous souls to rediscover its mystery and power.

Prints from this edition of 15 are available for purchase either framed ($250) or unframed ($100). The print is 5"x7" on BFK Rives paper.
