After spending years trying to learn to play ragtime piano, I finally gave up and settled for paying homage to my favorite rags visually. Clay monoprints are made by painting, stenciling and drizzling colored clay slips onto a flat slab of clay. The one-of-a-kind prints are made by working a thin layer of clay into the fibers of fabric or rice paper. This print is 5"x7" on pellon. It is availablefor purchase unframed for $35.
