Jimson Weed
This solar plate relief print is from a photo of Jimson Weed that volunteered in my garden last summer. I know it's considered a noxious weed and can be invasive, but those spectacular white flowers are so gorgeous that I couldn't bear to remove it. Instead, I went out every morning with my camera the whole time it was in bloom. This is just my proof from the plate. My current intention is to go more green/gold on the final edition, which will probably number about 20.
Prints from this edition will be available for purchase either framed ($250) or unframed ($100). The print is 6.5"x10" on Kozo rice paper.
