Parakeet Luggage

My friend, Sharon, had a parakeet named Leo. I agreed to birdsit while she was out of town, so the week before, she told me that Leo was all excited about coming to visit and that he had his little bag all packed. I had this flash of vision of a parakeet with Louis Vuitton luggage. Ultimately, this piece is a metaphor for all the STUFF we end up hauling around in our lives (physical or emotional). We need all this baggage about as much as a parakeet needs Louis Vuitton.

Prints from this edition of 15 are available for purchase either framed ($250) or unframed ($100). The print is 5"x7" on Stonehenge paper.
