Ride 'Em
I was in Florida checking out galleries and one of gallery owners asked about the art scene in Colorado and I commented that I'd probably do better if I could bring myself to paint cowboys and buffaloes. She moaned and said, "Here it's pelicans and palm trees." Once I got home, it occurred to me that cowboys and pelicans didn't feel nearly as demeaning as cowboys and buffaloes.
