I was born in Japan and grew up there and in Panama. Growing up in an artistic household, my work is infused by the landscapes and artistic traditions of the places I have lived. A certain oriental sensibility has combined with a love of the patterns and textures of the rain forest and plant life in general to create a unique way of seeing the world.

Shamanic traditions feed the imagery of my work, and you will often see mandalas, dream imagery, mystical creatures or subjects directed toward healing of the psyche. Even in work that is non-representational, the healing and transformative power of light and color directs the intention of everything I do.

All life is energy, and light is the physical manifestation of that life energy.
