Trace Monotype onto a Digital Print

I missed photographing the first step, which was to place a digitally printed image face down on the light box and trace onto the back of it.   Roll out ink onto a sheet of glass or plexiglass. Place the image, printed side down on top if the inked plate and tape in place. Go over the tracing of the image with a pencil or stylus. Whereever there is pressure on the back of the paper, ink transfers from the inked plate.     Finished trace monoprint. Print of the remaining ink on the glass plate.   Back to Digital Workshop page
